September 7th 12-5pm
Join us to celebrate Newstead's unique heritage and history and it's links to the River Tweed at our fun, creative event including music, workshops, displays, storytelling and refreshments.
Centred around the Village Green the Festival will bring our community and visitors together to celebrate all the things we love about our Village and its surroundings.
Newstead Sundials Festival is a free event run entirely by volunteers and made possible through Destination Tweed's Community Grant Scheme which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Thankyou to everyone who attended the meeting in the Village Hall today, 16th Feb, to find out more about the Newstead Sundials Festival proposal, to share ideas, ask questions and to volunteer!
It was great to see so many people there and it was really useful to hear comments and ideas which we will take on board to ensure the event is a success for everyone.
If you were unable to attend and would like to ask a question, comment or volunteer please don't hesitate to get in touch via our email contact@nvct.scot.
